Benno Poppelaars (1983) is an Associate Consultant in the Rotterdam office. He joined OC&C in 2009 with a BA in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Offshore Engineering from Delft University.

As a consultant, Benno has worked in a variety of industries, but mostly in transport and retail – and in projects related to mergers and acquisitions. In the transport sector he assisted clients in the startup of new international passenger routes and partnerships.

Last year, Benno was in the team that organized the office Christmas party – a bash in a glitzy disco in Rotterdam’s landmark Van Nelle building to which everyone in the office could invite 10 personal friends. In his spare time, Benno enjoys running, playing golf, and kite surfing.
